special thanks to my friend Kim Christiansen of Norway - who played guitar.

Another escape without a plan, no reason to go but still I ran
Is it a ghost that's stalking me - what do you see - what do you see?
'cuz this soldier feels too old to fight
but hand me my sword and battle gear 'cuz I'm still too young to die

I was shown the design late in the game, I'm slow to adapt to this terrain
I'm learning to crawl around these mines
soon you will hear my battle cry
I take no prisoners today
will you salute me while your blood drips from my blade?

See me. Hear me. What makes you fear me?
quiet yearnings - my bridges burning today
take me away before I jump into the fire

Such a hollow victory - where little remains but sorrow and pain
and now it seems I've lost my direction
in this jungle of mirrors - nothing gets clearer now

but as I make this final stand, I point to the line drawn in the sand
all you can hear now as you die - the echoes of my battle cry
I take no prisoners today - you will salute me while your blood drips from my blade?

See me. Hear me. What makes you fear me?
quiet yearnings - my bridges burning today
take me away before I jump into the fire
what can I say - I've been consumed by my desires.
Reach out - before I jump into the fire.......
